The Mid-Atlantic AHMA provides opportunities to recognize and celebrate excellence amongst our members in the management of affordable multifamily housing. In addition to providing training that leads to professional designations, MA-AHMA also encourages member companies and properties to gain recognition for the properties they manage and the residents who reside there.

Drug Free Poster Contest

This contest is open to children in grades K-12 and Seniors who are residents of MA-AHMA member properties. Winning poster/art is sent to the national contest sponsored by NAHMA, with the national winning poster/art being featured in an annual Drug-Free Calendar. The Calendars are sold (and are an allowable project expense) with proceeds supporting NAHMA and the local AHMAs missions.

Get recognized as a Community of Quality® through NAHMA’s National Recognition and Awards Program. Affordable housing providers who create safe, attractive, well-maintained properties that are neighborhood assets deserve to be recognized for their outstanding achievements.
