Advanced LIHTC Compliance (3-20-24)

Event Description

This 5-hour webinar*, presented by AJ Johnson, is intended for senior management staff, developers, corporate finance officers, and others involved in decision-making with regard to how credit deals are structured. This training covers complex issues such as eligible and qualified basis, applicable fraction, credit calculation (including first year calculation), placed in service issues, rehab projects, tax exempt bonds, projects with HOME funds, Next Available Unit Rule, employee units, mixed income properties, vacant unit rule, and dealing effectively with State Agencies. It also includes a full discussion of the new Average Income Minimum Set-Aside. This course also includes a full discussion of major IRS positions.

NOTE: This course in combination with the Intermediate LIHTC (offered on Dec. 12th) covers all testable areas of the HCCP and SHCM exams. Attend both days via convenient live/interactive webinar, then join us in Richmond on Dec. 14th to sit for the HCCP exam (requires separate registration).

Each person who views a MA-AHMA-hosted webinar must register and pay for individual access; group viewing via one registration/payment is prohibited and dishonest. Registration and registration fee payments must be received by any posted deadline or 5 business days prior to the webinar date if no deadline is posted on the registration page. Registration fees may be refunded less a $50 cancellation charge if a cancellation notice is received in writing via email to info@mid-atlanticahma.org by any posted deadline or at least 5 business days prior to the event if no deadline is posted. Non-payment of the registration fee does not cancel your registration and all no-shows will be responsible for payment of the full registration fee. No refunds or transfers are provided after the cancellation deadline (i.e., within 5 business days of the event or any posted deadline); substitutions are permitted until 1 day prior to an event. Certificates of participation will be held until full/correct payment is received and if the company has any delinquent MA-AHMA invoices. Non-payment of fees may result in registration refusal for future events. Corrective invoices will be issued for non-members registering/paying at the member rate and the balance due must be paid by the event date or upon receipt of the corrective invoice. A $50 late fee will be assessed on all payments received after the payment deadline. The webinar link you receive is personalized to you and should not be shared; unauthorized use of your personal link and/or multiple/simultaneous log-ins using your link may result in the assessment of additional registration fees.
